La La Land Movie Review

I usually don’t really like musicals but I can say this was one of the best I have seen. The sizzling chemistry between Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling along with their perfect timing, rhythm and dialogue leads me to understand why this is one of the best movies of the year. This movie is the perfect combination of humor, drama, and romance, dancing and singing that keeps you entertained over great storytelling. A jazz pianist played by Ryan Gosling falls for an aspiring actress played by Emma Stone; both are excellent in their roles which it seems were written for them. The direction of the film felt like an inspiring love letter set to music and Hollywood props. The director, Damian Chazelle to made it feel like a timeless classic. No other word comes to mind but brilliant! I give this movie 5 stars.
