Casino Royale

“When Bond receives his license to kill, M (Judie Dench) sends him on a mission to face Le Chiffre, a ruthless and cunning financier who will teach Bond his most important lesson: Trust no one.”

Movie Review:

Casino Royale is the 21st bond movie that reboots the series in spectacular fashion that proved that Daniel Craig is the best James Bond since Sean Connery. The director, Martin Campbell combined with script writers Neal Purvis, Robert Wade and Paul Haggis stripped all the silly gadgets and humor away and made James Bond a cold assassin and a flawed human being. All concerns were forgotten when the movie opened in black and white and Bond gets his first two kills. It features a great villain named Le Chiffe who is a ruthless financier and terrorist. He needs the money from the poker game and competes with Bond. Again, Judie Dench is back playing M. Her performance is awesome. This movie is also a tragic story of how Bond becomes Bond exploring in detail his coldness toward women. This movie is filled with excessive action and great fight scenes that are intense, and a climax that will leave you breathless. Casino Royale is not just a great Bond movie it is a great movie period. Personally, I love the James Bond movies and this one is definitely one of my favorites. I am going to give Casino Royale a 5 out of 5 stars.
