Spoiler Review:

“Avenger’s Age of Ultron” is a good satisfying action movie but a flawed sequel to the first “Avengers” movie. This bolder and darker plot will take you a long and twisted journey of complicated subplots. The movie begins with the Avengers taking down a hydra facility in Sokovia in order to recover Loki’s scepter from Wolfgang Von Strucker. They encounter two of Strucker’s human test subjects Pietro Maximoff (Quiksilver) who has superhuman speed, and his sister Wanda Maximoff (Scarlett) who can manipulate minds and energy. They apprehended Strucker and recovered Loki’s scepter. Stark and Banner apprehend Strucker and discover artificial intelligence within the scepter’s gem. A sentential robot attacks the Avenger’s headquarters escaping with the scepter. The robot then recruits the Maximoff twins to fight with him against the Avengers blaming them for the murder of their parents. The Avengers attack Ultron and the Maximoffs. Wanda seduces them with haunted visions causing the Hulk to go off on a rampage. Stark uses his anti- Hulk armor to defeat the Hulk. After a worldwide backlash leads the Avengers to a safe house, Nick Fury encourages the team to work on a plan to stop Ultron-- Stark plants J.A.R.V.I.S into synthetic bodies creating vision. When the Maximoffs find out about Ultron’s human extinction they join forces with the Avengers to save everyone from extinction. The best part about this movie is the action packed scenes. They are escalating and fun to watch especially the Hulk and Stark fight scenes. The character, Hawkeye was better utilized in this sequel then the original. Some of the editing was rushed and doesn’t allow for explanation of changes in character imaging specifically the different forms of Ultron. I mainly didn’t like the entire Thor subplot explaining his ‘vision’ which felt out of place. It slowed the entire movie down: it was just a set up for future sequels. In the end “Avengers Age of Ultron” sequel was an overabundance of subplots but an entertaining action movie to watch. I will give “Avengers Age of Ultron” a 3 out of 5 stars.
