Movie Review:

"Inception" is directed by my favorite director working right now Christopher Nolan and is an original science fiction movie about dreams and the subconscious. I have watched this film repeatedly and each time, I pick up some detail that I missed and realize that I like this movie more and more. "Inception" is about Dom Cobb, a thief who has the rare ability to enter peoples' minds and steal their secrets from their subconscious. When Dom gets an offer to get back his children, he has no choice but to accept the job. Once again, Leonardo DiCaprio proves he is one of the best actors working right now. He is so good playing this role that at times, I think he isn't even acting. He brings a great deal of emotion and depth to his character who has a dark secret that makes the audience sympathize with him. Dom's group that he puts together to help him plant an idea in someone's mind is skillful and organized and they have great chemistry with one another, including Tom Hardy and Joseph Gordon- Levitt; both are outstanding in this movie. The entire supporting cast of Ken Watanbe, Marion Cotillard, Ellen Page, Cillian Murphy, Tom Berenger and Michael Caine are phenomenal, and Christopher Nolan knows how to form an all-star cast and make it work. Every action scene is breath taking, exciting and pure entertainment including the shootouts and a rotating hallway scene; these scenes will leave you awe struck. The action scenes are exceptional, but the most important part that makes this a great film is emotion, and Christopher Nolan brings it with a heart-felt performance from Leonardo DiCaprio. "Inception" is one of the best original films that I have seen in the past ten years to have a well written complex story, exciting action scenes, and is very imaginative. I am giving "Inception" a 5 out of 5 stars.
