TED

Synopsis: When John Bennett (Mark Wahlberg) was a little boy, he made a wish that Ted (Seth MacFarlane), his beloved teddy bear, would come alive. Thirty years later, foul-mouthed Ted is still John's constant companion, much to the chagrin of Lori (Mila Kunis), John's girlfriend. Though Lori's displeasure is exacerbated by the pair's constant consumption of beer and weed, she's not the one who's most disappointed with John; it may take the intervention of John's boyhood toy to help him grow up at last.

Movie Review:

Ted is an original comedy movie directed by Seth Macfarlane and is director debut film and knocked it out of the park because this film is funny, crude and surprisly heartwarming. Seth Macfarlane also provides the voice of the main teddy bear named Ted and is hilarious in this role and he also did a great job directing this movie to. Mark Wahlberg plays the main character named John Bennet a 35 year old man child who doesn't know how to grow up and he is pretty funny as this character and his interaction with Ted, his girlfriend Lori played by Mila Kunis and the other characters in the movie are funny that will make you laugh until you cry which is pretty rare in a comedy now a days. There are some hilarious pop culture references like Indiana Jones, Flash Gordan and other famous movies that I love and Seth Mcfarlane is great at that. Also Mila Kunis is good as John's Girlfriend Lori who kind of gets annoyed of Ted and how John doesn't act his aged and feels that Ted is making him act like a child and there is a scene which involves some poop humor which led me in tears of laughter it was well done. Most of the supporting cast is funny as well like Joe McHale Lori's creepy boss who constally hits on her at the office and is a continuation of a joke in the movie and is pretty funny. Giovanni Ribisi plays the main villain who kidnaps Ted and makes him his because he is obsessed with him and is pretty funny even though he gets a little creepy at times. Surprisingly this movie is also heartwarming with the friendship between John and Ted feels like they are real friends even though Ted is just kids toy but he does feel like a real person. There are a few jokes that fell flat but that only like a few of them but most and all of them all really funny and will keep you entertained. The third act does turn into a kidnapped movie which it felt convoluted and seemed like the writers of the film were running on jokes. It is a little long but if you like Family Guy you will love this movie and you will laugh until your stomach hurts. I am going to give Ted a 4 out of 5 stars.
