Avengers Infinity War
Synopsis: Iron Man, Thor, the Hulk and the rest of the Avengers unite to battle their most powerful enemy yet -- the evil Thanos. On a mission to collect all six Infinity Stones, Thanos plans to use the artifacts to inflict his twisted will on reality. The fate of the planet and existence itself has never been more uncertain as everything the Avengers have fought for has led up to this moment.
Movie review: "Avengers Infinity War" is the 19th Marvel movie of the MCU and these movies have been around for 10 years now and they have been getting better and better each year. "Avengers Infinity War" is an action packed thrill ride with incredible action sequences and emotional jaw dropping moments that you weren't expecting in a Marvel film. Unfortunately, it is, also, a flawed film with some uneven pacing issues and some overcrowded of characters. This story finds the Avengers and their allies willing to sacrifice everything in an attempt to defeat the powerful Thanos before he collects all of the Infinity Stones to wipe out half of the universe. What the Russo Brothers accomplished here by putting almost every Marvel character in this movie was pretty amazing and I applaud them for making it work. Usually in some comic book movies this would have been a mess but the Russos found a way to do it. This movie isn't really about the Avengers but about Thanos, the villain of the movie. Thanos is probably one of the best MCU and comic book villains of all time. Josh Brolin did an amazing job playing him as a ruthless, intimidating, and fearsome character. The best villains are the ones that think they are the good guys and believe that what they all doing is right. Thanos does this by persuading the audience to understand his evil motives and this is what makes him a great comic book villain. The actions are all well- choreographed (better than the last two Marvel movies) ,action packed, and filled with exhilarating fun action sequences. My favorite interactions in this movie have to be between Thor Rocket and Groot; they had the funniest dialogue and I loved their adventure scenes. Watching Iron Man, Doctor Strange, Spider-Man and the Guardians of the Galaxy interacting was really great to see. Every character in this movie had a moment to shine including Black Panther, Captain America, Black Widow, Scarlett Witch, Vision, Winter Soldier, to name a few – they all had incredible action scenes that I enjoyed. The only problem I had with this movie was that some of the characters that I loved in the previous movies don't get enough screen time and the reason why this happened was the overabundance of characters. And at times, the movie was too overstuffed with storylines that affected pacing. But if you are a Marvel fan, love action and excitement, "Avengers Infinity War" is definitely the movie for you and worth seeing. I am giving "Avengers Infinity War" a 4/5 Stars.
