Movie Review:

“The Lego Movie 2:the second part” is the fourth film the lego movie franchise and the sequel to the surprising and fantastic first film the directors of the first film Lord and Millar did not return to direct it but they did write and produce the film. Mike Mitchell directed this movie even though its not as good as the original film but this movie is still a funny, sweet , and heartwarming animated film for the whole family. Its been 5 years after the events of the first film and the citizens of Bricksberg becomes a dystopian future that is right out of Mad Max finds our main character Emmett still thinking everything is awesome and still voiced by the funny Chris Pratt and having a relationship with Wyldstyle played by the amazing Elizabeth Banks are great until invaders form space named General Mayhem takes Wyldstlye, Batman, Benny, Metalbeard and Unikitty to space it only up to Emmet to save his friends. Just like the first film Batman played by Will Arnett is hilarious and the self Aware jokes about how he is lonely and angry all there time is the best thing in the movie it was very funny. Chris Pratt also voices another character named Rex Dangervest who is perfect and every single character trait that Chris Pratt played including a space adventure, a Reptor Trainer and the jokes about Chris Pratt’s Career were very funny. Tiffany Haddish is on of the new characters she voiced Queen Watevra and some of the songs that she sings are hilarious. There is a song about she doesn’t date any guys who are from Gotham was the best song in the whole entire movie. The movie does feel like I have seen this movie before and some of the jokes do get repetitive and does feel like this film is more geared towards kids like the themes and the lessons in this film. But Even though its not as good as the first Lego Movie I still had a big smile on my face with funny jokes, talent voice cast I Was still entertain for an hour an half and every thing is still awesome. I am going to give The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part 3.5 out of 5 stars.
