Movie Review:

“How to Train Your Dragon : The Hidden World” is the 3rd movie in the How to Train your Dragon franchise and they gave us a wonderful, emotional perfect trilogy closer that ended heartfelt for all the fans that have been with this franchise since 2010. How to Train Your Dragon 3 finds Hiccup discovering that Toothless isn’t the only Night Fury, he must seek the hidden World, a secret Dragon Utopia before a hired tyrant named Grimmel finds it first. Usually 3rd movies in the trilogy are bad but not this one this one is as good as its predecessors. The animation is spectacular to look at every action scene was exciting to watch from the opening scene when Hicup and his company fo friends try to rescue other dragons was funny to watch them mess up including characters Snotlout and Ruffnut voiced by The funny Johana Hill and Kristen Wiig who play twins in the movie and there back in forth arguing with each other was the funniest stuff in the movie. As someone who has a twin I could relate to this. Most of the voice cast came back including America Ferrera as Hiccups girlfriend Astrid I loved there romacne in this movie as someone who have seen all the films there relationship has very developed and I bought there love. Also Cate Blanchett returns as Valka Hiccups mother and she’s always great. Kit Harrington returns as Eret the villain who turns good and is fine in the third one but his character was more of a side character was just there. The Villain this time around Grimmel voiced by F. Murrary Abraham who is the weakest part of the film because it seemed like he was just a recycled villain from the second film who wants to take all the dragons away. He was also one note and you didn’t really know anything about him. Some of the movie does feel like they used some plot points from the previous two films and just recycled them which felt lazy. Another strongest element to the film Was the relationship Between Hiccup and his dragon Toothless it was funny, heartfelt that feels like a Boy and his dog storyline that I loved. How to Train You Dragon the Hidden World isn’t my favorite film in this franchise but its so close because its funny, heartfelt, a great Voice cast, and exciting action scenes that will entertained you know matter what age you are. I am going to give "How To Train You Dragon: The Hidden World" a 4 out of 5 stars.
