Movie Review:

“Us” Is Directed by Jordan Peele and is his second film after the highly critically loved film of “Get Out”. Once again Jordan Peele has delivered a fantastic, emotional, entertaining film that has lot of humor and scares. This movie is not so good as Jordan Peele’s first movie “Get Out” but this film is another win for Jordan Peele. Whats so great about “Us is the creepy atmosphere that Jordan Peele sets up in this movie was creepy weird and I loved everything about it. It was great horror. Lupita Nyong’o might have given us her best performance since “12 Years a Slave” she plays two characters Adelaide Wilson the innocent women who had a tragic experienced as a child and The character Red the psychotic doppelgänger killer who haunted her and her family she played both of these characters great. Another Standout was Shahadi Wright Joseph who plays Zora Wilson her daughter in the movie she is so good she brought a lot of humor in this movie and she got crazy when she plays a crazy doppelgänger Umbrae whop brought the creepiness and every time she was on screen she shined. Most of the main cast including Winston Duke who plays Gabe Wilson who played her husband in the movie is always good Evan Alex who pays her son was a surprising addition to the film he bought a little fun humor to the film too. The supporting cast Elizabeth Moss and Tim Heidecker who play a husband and Wife who hate each other was the funniest part of the whole movie. Most of the acting Was fantastic it turns into a dark comedy sometimes toward the second act of the film. It also is a little predicable at times and it seems Jordan Peele took some some plot points from other horror films in the past but I still enjoy this movie. I have loved almost three fourths of this movie but the whole ending just didn’t land for me. I know what Jordan Peele ws trying to do he was trying to make a political point without hitting you over the head which he did but when you think about it doesn’t make sense. With great acting, master class directing, creepy atmosphere and is funny Jordan Peele’s Second film is a winner If you are a horror fan you will enjoy it. It s one of my favorite movies that I have seen this year. But with an ending that will make you stretch you head in confusing. I am going to give “Us”a 4 out of 5 stars.
