Anyone But You

Synopsis:

Despite an amazing first date, Bea and Ben's initial attraction quickly turns sour. However, when they unexpectedly find themselves at a destination wedding in Australia, they pretend to be the perfect couple to keep up appearances.

 Movie Review:

“Anyone But You” is directed by Will Gluck, and it is the new Rom-Com starring Sydney Sweeney and Glen Powell. Sydney Sweeney and Glen Powell play helpless romantics who have lots of emotional baggage that make them perfect for each other, but they hate each other. This movie is filled with these two characters hurling funny insults with some heartwarming moments mixed in. The supporting cast includes Darren Barnet, Alexandra Shipp, Hadley Robinson, and Dermont Mulroney all play predictable characters typical in a Rom-Com. My biggest issue with this movie was the third act – it felt sloppy, uneven, and boring making me count down the moments until it was over. If you like a Rom-Com then this movie is for you but wait till you can watch it for free.  I am giving “Anyone but

You” a 3/5 stars.
