Synopsis: In the 1990s, Sonny Hayes was Formula 1's most promising driver until an accident on the track nearly ended his career. Thirty years later, the owner of a struggling Formula 1 team convinces Sonny to return to racing and become the best in the world. Driving alongside the team's hotshot rookie, Sonny soon learns that the road to redemption is not something you can travel alone.

Movie Review:

“F1: The Movie,” directed by Joseph Kosinski, is an original sports film that captures the essence of Formula 1 racing while evoking the spirit of classic summer blockbusters from the late '90s. With a stellar cast and heart-pounding car scenes that make you feel like you’re right there in the driver’s seat, this film has quickly become one of my favorites of the year.

Brad Pitt stars as Sonny Hayes, an aging race car driver known as "the greatest who never was." He delivers a charismatic and charming performance that reminds us why he’s been a leading man in Hollywood for nearly three decades. Despite his reckless and arrogant tendencies, Sonny is relatable and likable, with a sense of humor that makes it easy to root for him.

The dynamic between Sonny and rookie driver Joshua Pearce, played by Damson Idris, is a highlight of the film. Idris shines as the talented and ambitious newcomer with a big ego. Their chemistry is electric, filled with witty insults and playful banter that transforms them from rivals into partners and friends, making their relationship one of the best aspects of the movie.

Kerry Condon plays Kate McKenna, the chief designer of their racing team. She delivers a compelling performance and shares a captivating chemistry with Pitt, making their romantic subplot genuinely engaging. Javier Bardem also shines as Ruben Cervantes, the owner of the Apex racing team. His charm and comedic timing add a delightful layer to the film, making his character one of the most enjoyable to watch.

What sets this racing film apart from others is the innovative use of in-car cameras, which immerses you in the action like never before. Joseph Kosinski has done a fantastic job directing this exhilarating ride. While the film is fast-paced and filled with great performances and likable characters, it does follow many familiar sports clichés, making it somewhat predictable without any major surprises.

Overall, “F1: The Movie” is a thrilling experience that combines heart, emotion and non stop thrills  I am giving “F1 The Movie” a 4.5./5 stars.
