Synopsis: After a drug deal gone wrong, a bruised detective must fight his way through the criminal underworld to rescue a politician's estranged son, unravelling a deep web of corruption and conspiracy that ensnares his entire city.

Movie Review:

“"Havoc," directed by Gareth Evans, is a new original action movie with some of the most insane non-stop action scenes that are vibrant, intense, and fast-paced. It may be over the top, but it's a blast to watch. Tom Hardy shines as Walker, a tough detective with a good heart. His performance and stunts are captivating, making him the standout character of the movie. Jessie Mei Li also delivers a solid performance as Ellie, a rookie cop with a close relationship to Walker.

The highlight of the movie is the incredible night club shootout and the thrilling third act filled with fast-paced hand-to-hand combat scenes. The city setting feels alive and gritty, adding to the realism of the film. However, the main story is predictable and the beginning is a bit slow. The action, while entertaining, can be a bit cheesy and unrealistic at times.

The villains, played by Timothy Olyphant and Forest Whitaker, lack substance and feel wasted. Despite its flaws, "Havoc" is still an entertaining watch, thanks to its incredible action sequences. I'd give it a solid 3.5/5 stars.
