Inside Out 2

Synopsis: Joy, Sadness, Anger, Fear and Disgust have been running a successful operation by all accounts. However, when Anxiety shows up, they aren't sure how to feel.

Movie Review:

"Directed by Kelsey Mann, "Inside Out 2" is the 28th Pixar movie and the sequel to the 2015 hit that reignited my love for the company. This sequel really knocked it out of the park with its heartfelt story, lovable characters, and relatable issues that teenagers face every day, making it a movie that everyone can enjoy.

The voice cast is absolutely amazing, with Amy Poehler returning as Joy, the always positive and happy emotion who serves as a great leader. Lewis Black also makes a hilarious return as Anger, with his outbursts and inability to control his temper providing some of the funniest moments in the film. The rest of the voice cast, including Liza Lapira, Phyliss Smith, and Tony Hale, all add their own unique personalities to the movie.

The addition of new emotions like Envy, Embarrassment, and Ennui bring more drama, conflict, and humor to the story. Maya Hawke's portrayal of Anxiety as the villain trying to take control of Riley by creating a cooler version of her is truly captivating and makes her one of my favorite Pixar villains.

The animation in the film is stunning, creating a realistic and colorful world that feels hopeful. My only gripe with the movie is that the main story felt a bit repetitive at times, resembling the first movie. However, overall, "Inside Out 2" is one of the best Pixar films in a long time, striking a perfect balance of heart, humor, and emotion that appeals to both adults and children alike."

I am giving” Inside out 2” a 4.5/5 stars.
