John Wick: Chapter 4

Synopsis:

Movie Review:

“John Wick: Chapter 4” is directed by Chad Stahelski (he returns for the 4th time in this franchise) who delivers an adrenaline-fueled, action-packed movie that turns out to be one of the best action films I have seen in a long time. Keanu Reeves once again plays John Wick the deadliest hitman, and he performs most of his stunts in the action scenes. This time he goes to war with the High Table to gain his freedom. There are some great new characters that are introduced like Shamier Anderson (Mr. Nobody) another assassin and a tracker who is calculating and ruthless. In my opinion, Donnie Yen steals the show as Caine a blind assassin that has a past with John Wick and he has some of the funniest scenes in the movie. Bill Skarsgard plays Marquis de Gramont the head of the Table of Assassins and villain of the franchise who wants John Wick dead. Ian McShane and Laurence Fishburne add to the story with their quick wit and subtle charm. The last hour of the film takes place in Paris, and it was an incredible action-packed finale. However, the movie does have some long running scenes that drag, and the movie itself is way too long. I am giving “John Wick: Chapter 4” a 4.5/5 stars.
