Movie Review:
"Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrim, directed by Kenji Kamiyama, is a prequel to the original trilogy set 183 years before the events. The exciting Japanese animation style, packed with action and excellent battle scenes, really transports you back to Middle Earth and makes it a must-watch. The animation is fantastic, almost making it feel like live action at times with its vibrant colors and detailed environments reminiscent of Peter Jackson's work.
Gaia Wise shines as Princess Here, the strong, courageous daughter of King Hammerhand. Her performance adds depth to the character, making her one of the standout women in the franchise. Brian Cox delivers a powerful performance as King Helm Hammerhand, portraying a tough yet loving leader. Luke Pasqualino plays the ruthless villain Wulf, seeking revenge for his father's death, making him a character you love to hate.
The action scenes are bloody, entertaining, and visually stunning. The movie also includes fun references to the original trilogy that enhance the viewing experience without feeling forced. However, the plot felt a bit predictable and followed a familiar storyline.
Overall, "Lord of the Rings: The War of Rohirrim" is a worthy addition to the Middle Earth universe. Fans of the series will definitely enjoy this movie. I give it 3.5/5 stars."
