Synopsis: Marvin is a Milwaukee realtor who receives a crimson envelope from Rose, a former partner-in-crime whom he left for dead. He now finds himself thrust back into a world of ruthless hit men and double-crosses that turn his open houses into deadly war zones. Hunted by his brother, a volatile crime lord, Marvin must confront the choices that haunt him and the history he never truly buried.

Movie Review:

"Love Hurts" is the debut feature film directed by Jonathan Eusebio, and it's an original action comedy with a Valentine's Day twist. I was really looking forward to it because I love action movies, but unfortunately, I was pretty let down. The story felt rushed, there were some silly moments that felt too cartoonish, and the romance felt forced and out of place.

The one bright spot in the movie was Ke Huy Quan, who played Marvin Gable, a former hitman turned realtor. He gave a decent, funny, and awkward performance that really brought his character to life. He was definitely the best part of the movie. The action scenes were well done, thanks to Eusebio's background as a stuntman. They were dynamic and stylish, making them exciting to watch.

However, the generic and uninteresting story was a major letdown. It was predictable and boring, and I found it hard to care about what was happening. Ariana Grande, who played Rose, Marvin's love interest, did an okay job, but the lack of chemistry between her and Quan made their romance feel forced.

The villain, Knuckles, played by Daniel Wu, was also a disappointment. He was underutilized and his character felt flat. The introduction of Marshawn Lynch's character only added to the silliness of the movie, making it feel more like a comedy sketch at times.

Overall, "Love Hurts" was a letdown. The forced celebrity cameos didn't help either. The stale story and messy script showed that not every stuntman can direct a movie. I would give "Love Hurts" a 2 out of 5 stars.
