Movie Review:

“Memory” is directed by Martin Campbell, and it is the second Liam Neeson action movie this year and another boring, predictable, and disappointing one. Liam Neeson gives a good performance as Alex an expert hitman who is suffering from early stages of Alzheimer’s disease causing him to lose his memory. Although poorly executed, his personal struggle is the most interesting part of this movie. Guy Pearce plays Vincent Serra who is an honest FBI agent and wants to do the right thing, but his character is predictable and there are no surprises. The supporting cast of Taji Atwai, Harold Torres and Ray Stevenson who play FBI agents are mediocre at best. Monica Bellucci plays Davana Sealman the villain and she was the weakest part about the movie. Also, there were too many subplot storylines going on that were unnecessary. Some of the action in the movie does stand out but most of the action scenes feel generic and unoriginal. Finally, the ending explaining the wrap up of each character’s story was confusing and not done well. I would like to forget I watched “Memory”. I am giving “Memory” a 2/5 stars.
