Movie Review:
"Mickey 17" is a film directed by Bong Joon Ho and is based on the science fiction novel "Mickey7." The movie is a hilarious satire on class, religion, and politics, with fantastic acting from the entire cast. Robert Pattinson shines as Mickey Barnes, a disposable employee who keeps coming back to life every time he dies. He portrays the awkward, shy character with a weird, funny voice perfectly. Pattinson also impresses as Mickey 18, a more confident and dangerous version of himself.
Naomi Ackie delivers a great performance as Nasha, Mickey's love interest, and has great chemistry with Pattinson. Steven Yeun plays Timo, an amateur gangster, and adds humor to the film. The visual effects are top-notch, making the movie visually stunning.
Mark Ruffalo's portrayal of Kenneth Marshall, a former president, is satirical and over-the-top, while Toni Collette's character as the president's wife falls flat for me. The third act of the film felt too chaotic for my liking.
Overall, I give "Mickey 17" a rating of 3.5/5 stars. It's a fun and entertaining movie with standout performances from the cast.
