No Time To Die

Synopsis: James Bond is enjoying a tranquil life in Jamaica after leaving active service. However, his peace is short-lived as his old CIA friend, Felix Leiter, shows up and asks for help. The mission to rescue a kidnapped scientist turns out to be far more treacherous than expected, leading Bond on the trail of a mysterious villain who's armed with a dangerous new technology.

Movie review:

“No Time to Die” is directed by Cary Joji Fukunaga, and it is the 25th installment of the Bond franchise and the 5th and final outing for Bond. Once again, Daniel Craig is fantastic as James Bond. This was an emotional, satisfying conclusion to his 15 years as James Bond. I thought this might be his best performance. The writers incorporated some bold and interesting new things with the character that worked. Ralph Fiennes, Naomie Harris and Ben Wishaw all return to play M, Miss Moneypenny, and Q, and all of them add something to help James Bond on his mission and Daniel Craig has wonderful chemistry with all three of them. Lea Seydoux returns as Madeleine Swan, Bond’s love interest in the last film, and she was so much better this time around. I actually liked their romantic relationship and cared what happens to her character. This film has non-stop action scenes that are intense and are the best I have seen in any of the previous films. There are two new characters: Paloma played by Ana De Armas (a C.I.A agent who teams up with Bond in the first act) and she lights up the screen with her humor in every scene. Unfortunately, she is only in one scene. And Lashana Lynch plays Nomi (the new 007), and she has a fun rivalry with Bond that is exciting to watch. Rami Malek plays Safin the main villain (he is tied to Madeleine’s past), and Malek is great at playing ‘creepy’ but I thought he was just a forgettable, classic villain who wants to take over the world. My only problem I had with the movie was it is too long. This is definitely one of my top 5 Bond films. It is full of talented performances, action, and an emotional ending. This is a great film. I am giving “No Time to Die” a 4/5 Stars.
