In a barrage of fists, gunfire and squealing tires, Hutch must now save his wife and son from a dangerous adversary -- and ensure that he will never be underestimated again.

Movie Review:

Nobody” is directed by IIya Naishuller and it is an action film in the same vain as “Jon Wick”. Just like that movie this is entertaining with a likeable lead in the main role. Bob Odenkirk plays Hutch Mansell a normal father and husband who does the same thing every week but hides a dark past and secrets. Bob Odenkirk is fantastic in the role -- he is easily relatable as the ‘guy next door’, and his down to earth personality adds humor to his character. The brutal hand to hand combat scenes are intense, bloody, and engaging to watch. Connie Nielsen plays Becca Mansell his wife and she adds some human emotions to the movie. She and Bob Odenkirk have great chemistry and share heartbreaking scenes together. The person who steals the show is Christopher Lloyd who plays his old, witty father David Mansell; he surprisingly had some exciting action scenes proving that this 82-year-old can still perform. He, also, has some nice father and son moments with Bob Odenkirk. Although, some of the plot is predictable and generic and I have seen those stories told many times before, the exciting action and talented actors made up for it. The weakest aspect of the film is the villain who is played by Alesksey Serebryakov. He is a Russian gangster who is a very angry one-dimensional character with little emotions. This film does have an exciting finale that reminds me of “Home Alone” – the ending has some of the best action scenes I have seen in a while. “Nobody” is a funny action film with a great performance by Bob Odenkirk. I am giving “Nobody” a 4 out of 5 stars.
