Synopsis: When best friends and roommates Dreux and Alyssa discover Alyssa's boyfriend has blown their rent money, the duo finds themselves going to extremes in a race against the clock to avoid eviction and keep their friendship intact.

Movie Review:

"One of Them Days" marks Lawrence Lamont's directorial debut, delivering a hilarious and heartfelt comedy about friendship. Keke Palmer shines as Dreux, a charming and charismatic young woman striving to become a manager while working as a waitress. Her chemistry with SZA, who plays her wild and reckless best friend Alyssa, is what truly brings the film to life. SZA steals the show with her comedic performance, while Maude Apatow's portrayal of the positive and hilarious neighbor Bethany adds another layer of fun to the movie.

The supporting cast, including Lil Red Howery, Patrick Cage, Gabrielle Dennis, and Joshua David Neal, all contribute to the chaos that ensues for our two lead characters. While the film may get a bit silly and absurd at times, it's all part of the comedic charm that kept me laughing throughout. Despite its flaws, "One of Them Days" earns a solid 3.5/5 rating from me.
