Movie review:

“Raya and the Last Dragon” is a Disney animated film that tells the story about a young woman named Raya who must find the last dragon and bring peace back into the world. This movie has to be my favorite Disney animation film since “Big Hero 6”. What I loved about this film is that it is an action film with some amazing fight sequences that were well edited and enjoyable to look at. Once again Disney created another film with colorful environments and breathtaking animation that will make your jaw drop. Raya played by Kelly Marie Tran is probably my favorite new character in a Disney film. She is a warrior; brave, and fearless who will fight to protect and defend. The standout character for me in the film is the dragon Sisu voiced by Awkwafina. She is a witty and amusing character who was fun to watch every time she was on screen. The villain in the movie is Raya’s rival Namaari voiced by Gemma Chan who was a conflicted character, but intimidating and strong. “Rayan and the Last Dragon” is a beautifully made film with lots of heart and action that will be loved by all ages. I am giving it a 4.5/5 stars.
