Synopsis: Sonic, Knuckles and Tails reunite to battle Shadow, a mysterious new enemy with powers unlike anything they've faced before. With their abilities outmatched in every way, they seek out an unlikely alliance to stop Shadow and protect the planet.

Movie Review:

"Sonic the Hedgehog 3" is once again directed by Jeff Fowler for the third time, making it the third movie in this trilogy based on the popular SEGA video game. It's a highly enjoyable blockbuster that is funny, action-packed, and filled with great life lessons that both children and adults can appreciate.

Ben Schwartz does a fantastic job voicing Sonic, capturing his humor, kindness, and his emotional relationships with his family. Sonic's friendship with Knuckles and Tails adds a great element to the movie, with their funny banter making me laugh out loud. Idris Elba's portrayal of Knuckles is a standout, with his sarcastic insults and funny temper making him one of my favorite characters.

Jim Carrey once again steals the show as the villain Dr. Robotnik, delivering hilarious physical humor and sarcastic one-liners. His portrayal of both Dr. Robotnik and his grandfather Gerald Robotnik adds to the fun. Keanu Reeves as Shadow brings incredible strength, speed, and a sense of danger to the movie, although I wish they had developed his backstory more.

The third act of the trilogy is the best, with high-stakes action that tugs at the heartstrings. While there are some cheesy dialogues that made me cringe, overall, the movie is an enjoyable and fun time at the theater. Krysten Ritter's character felt wasted with terrible lines, and James Marsden and Tina Browne didn't have much to do.

Overall, "Sonic the Hedgehog 3" is one of the better video game adaptations I've seen, and I would give it a 3.5/5 rating.
