Movie Review:

“The Equalizer 3” is once again directed by Antoine Fuqua, and it is the final chapter of the trilogy. This is a gory action film with an outstanding performance by Denzel Washington. Denzel Washington returns to play Robert McCall a retired government assassin who just wants to find peace in southern Italy. His character is the best thing in this movie as the intimidating and sarcastic assassin, and his action scenes are believable and well filmed. Dakota Fanning plays C.I.A agent Emma Collins who reunites with McCall after 15 years and they have great chemistry with each other in every scene. Unfortunately, her storyline felt wasted and just set up the villains of the story. Andrea Scarduzio plays Italian mob Vincent who is the main villain of the movie. Vincent is the typical bad guy who is just there for McCall to kill him at the end. When the action scenes do happen, they are entertaining but after an intense opening scene the movie slows down and not much happens until the last 15 minutes which was disappointing. But if you like bloody action scenes and Denzel Washington, then you will like this movie. I am giving “The Equalizer 3” 3.5/5 stars.
