Movie Review:

" The Marvels" is directed by Nia DaCosta, and is the 33rd MCU Movie and sequel to the 2019 "Captain Marvel" film. Carol (Brie Larson), Ms. Marvel (Iman Vellani) and Monica Rambo (Teyonah Parris) are the three leads of the film and their on-screen chemistry and emotional scenes make this movie better than it is. In my Opinion, Iman Vellani who plays Ms. Marvel steals the show in every scene as charismatic, funny fan girl of Captain Marvel. Brie Larson displays a sense of humor and a more likable personaltiy this time around. There were some fun action scenes that showed off all three of the ladie's superpowers that made it differant and exciting from other comic book movies in the past, However, The ation does get a little generic by the end. Samuel L. Jackson returns as Nick Fury, and he is is great as always with his funny one liners, but his character engages in a few action scenes other than shooting his gun. There were a few major issues that I had with this movie. Somw Parts reminded me of a disneu princess movie. The villain Dar- Benn played by Zawe Ashton was written Poorly and was dissapoiting. And it is so short that the story became overstuffed, convoluted, and chaotic. Unfortunately "The Marvels should have been a six- episode series instead of a movie. Iam giving "The Marvels a 3.5/Stars.
