Movie Review:
"Time Cut, directed by Hannah Macpherson, is a new horror slasher that attempts to blend elements of science fiction and time travel, but ultimately falls short. The movie lacks scares, is messy, and overall pretty boring. The kills are uninspired and the plot fails to deliver.
However, I did find some redeeming qualities in the sister relationship between Madison Bailey and Antonia Gentry, who play Lucy and Summer. Their performances were decent and they had a sweet dynamic that added some heart to the film. I also enjoyed Griffin Gluck's portrayal of Quinn, the best friend and science geek. I found his character relatable and charming.
The soundtrack of the movie was a highlight for me, featuring famous songs from the early 2000s that brought on some nostalgic moments. Despite these positives, the movie falls flat with its predictable twist, cliched coming-of-age tropes, and a confusing and unsatisfying ending that defies logic.
Overall, "Time Cut" is one of the worst movies I've seen and I wouldn't recommend wasting your time on it. I give it a 1.5/5 stars."
