Synopsis: A surveillance mission goes wrong for a platoon of American Navy SEALs in insurgent territory in Iraq.

Movie Review:

"Directed by Alex Garland and starring Ray Mendoza, a former US veteran, "Warfare" is a gripping war movie that really hits home. The intense shootouts feel so realistic, making it one of the best war movies I've seen lately.

D’ Pharaoh Woon-A Tai delivers a standout performance as Ray, the young communications expert. His portrayal of a real-life soldier, from helping his wounded comrades to facing constant danger, feels incredibly authentic. Will Poulter also shines as Erik, the lieutenant leading the surveillance mission. His loyalty and determination to protect his fellow soldiers are truly compelling.

The supporting cast, including Joseph Quinn, Cosmo Jarvis, Kit Conner, Michael Gandolfini, Agin Bradley, and Taylor John Smith, all deliver fantastic performances. Their reactions to the intense action scenes and moments of panic really make their characters stand out.

But it's Charles Melton who steals the show as Jake, the brave soldier who saves the crew. His leadership and courage make him one of my favorite characters in the movie.

The filmmaking in "Warfare" is top-notch, with incredible sound and effects that truly immerse you in the battlefield alongside the soldiers. It's an unforgettable experience at the movies.

My only gripe is that I wish we had learned more about the characters, but overall, "Warfare" is a powerful film about brotherhood and modern warfare that deserves to be seen. It's definitely one of my favorite movies right now. I give "Warfare" 4.5 out of 5 stars."
