Synopsis: Shipwrecked on a deserted island, a robot named Roz must learn to adapt to its new surroundings. Building relationships with the native animals, Roz soon develops a parental bond with an orphaned gosling.

Movie Review:

Wild Robot," directed by Chris Sanders, is a new original animated film that tells an incredible, emotional, and beautiful story about motherhood. It's a heartwarming tale that will tug at your heartstrings and is definitely one of the best Dreamworks animated movies in years.

Lupita Nyong’o voices Roz, a robot who learns to adapt on an island and becomes a mother to a goose named Brightbill. Their relationship is the heart of the movie, and Nyong’o's performance is perfect for the character. Kit Connor, who voices Brightbill, does a great job as well, and his chemistry with Nyong’o is heartfelt.

The voice cast, including Mark Hamill, Catherine O’Hara, Ving Rhames, and Bill Nighy, adds depth to their characters. Pedro Pascal shines as Fink the fox, stealing the show with his funny scenes and lines.

The animation in this film is top-notch, with dynamic colors that make it stand out from other animated movies released this year. The movie also includes some emotional and heartfelt scenes that teach relatable life lessons, making it a must-watch for both adults and children.

The only issues I had were with Stephanie Hsu's character, Vontra, who didn't have much screen time and didn't feel like a real threat in the end. The ending also felt a bit chaotic.

Overall, "Wild Robot" is an emotional roller coaster that will make you shed a tear. It's definitely one of the best films of the year, and I would give it a 4.5/5 stars.
