Zach's Snyder's Justice League

Synopsis: Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman's selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists newfound ally Diana Prince to face an even greater threat. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to recruit a team to stand against this newly awakened enemy. Despite the formation of an unprecedented league of heroes -- Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg, and the Flash -- it may be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.

Movie Review: “Zach Snyder’s Justice League” is directed by Zach Snyder and is the true original vision from him. This is a far superior film than the one that we got in 2017. I found this movie to be epic, visually stunning, action packed and more emotional moments with each character because of the extended run time. Every one of the Justice League characters has an arc and they have a moment to shine in the film. Ben Affleck reprises his role as Batman/ Bruce Wayne and is once again fantastic. He plays a Batman who is trying to fix his mistakes from the last film. I loved how Batman is a more of a leader in this one. The whole first act of the film was Batman’s journey of trying to find and assemble the Justice League. I also loved the partnership that he has with Diane Prince/Wonder Woman who is played by Gal Gadot. She is perfect as this character; strong, wise and an inspiration of hope. She does have an incredible action scene that takes place near the beginning of the movie that was intense. I also loved Alfred who is once again played my Jeremy Irons. He has a bigger role in this film and has a great sense of humor. His interactions with Bruce and the whole Justice League was fun to watch. Ezra Miller plays Barry Allen/the Flash and this character was so much better in this version of the film as he actually has a backstory that is emotional. The Flash has some great moments throughout. I really loved Jason Momoa as Aquaman. The story of his relationship with Atlantis, his mother, and the reasons why he didn’t want to join Batman’s team are told in depth. I enjoyed his action scenes. One of the most surprising characters who steals the show was Ray Fisher who plays Cyborg. His father/son relationship backstory was heartbreaking. Henry Cavill reprises his role as Clark Kent/Superman. I thought his performance might be the best I have seen him on screen, and he proves that Superman is the most powerful being in that world. Henry Cavill, also had some emotional scenes with Lois Lane and Martha Kent. Ciaran Hinds plays the main villain Steppenwolf and you understand why he is doing his terrible deeds. The CGI was much better in this version; he looked menacing, scary and someone you don’t want to mess with. Even though I enjoyed Amy Adams’ portrayal of Lois Lane, I thought her character was boring and it seemed like the filmmakers don’t know what to do with her anymore -- she is depressed and sad about the death of the love of her life Clark the entire movie. At times this movie does feel too long. But other than that, I absolutely loved this version. It is one of my favorite DC movies I have seen. I am giving “Zach Snyder’s Justice League” a 4 out of 5 stars.
